Dr. Albrecht graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center with an MD degree, and furthered his education at Harvard Medical School by completing a surgical internship and ob/gyn residency at the Brigham and Women’s Medical Center in Boston. His postgraduate fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was also completed at Harvard. Dr. Albrecht treats women and couples with all types of infertility, including unexplained infertility, tubal factor, uterine conditions, age-related fertility issues and male factor. In addition, he has initiated the Life Program for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome as a Center-within-a-Center, and is one of the first of its kind in the nation and the only one at present being offered in Colorado. The program focuses intensively on assisting women with PCOS throughout all phases of their lives, from puberty through menopause. Albrecht Women’s Care offers minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, in vitro fertilization, intrauterine inseminations, ovulation induction, well-woman care, as well as complementary healing modalities. Dr. Albrecht has overseen and been directly involved in thousands of in vitro fertilization cycles, and his statistics have ranked consistently in the top tier of the nation. Dr. Albrecht has received numerous awards over the years, both professional as well as from the public.  Two public awards include Top Doc from the publication 5280, a top Denver magazine in which he was nominated by his peers in 2004 as one of the best fertility specialists in Denver.  Dr. Albrecht was recently awarded by patients the “Patients’ Choice Award.”
